Do you need to place the receipt on your dashboard?

No.
The City’s Parking Enforcement Division uses License Plate Recognition technology (LPR)  to identified those who paid for parking as well as those who didn’t pay for parking.
The receipt serves as proof that a parking session was paid for. It also provides the time the parking session expires.
There is no need to place the receipt on the dashboard.
Keep it for your records only.
