The City of Deerfield Beach will be hosting a hybrid meeting on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Constitution Park meeting room located at 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd to discuss the NW Corridor of the City. The NW corridor is bound by Florida Turnpike on the west, the County line to the north, Military Trail on the east, and SW 10th Street to the South, with an emphasis on the intersection of Hillsboro Boulevard and Powerline Road. This meeting is open to all residents, business owners, stakeholders, and interested parties who would like to provide input into this process.
In 2021, the City of Deerfield Beach partnered with Florida Atlantic University to do an assessment of the NW Area. The goal of the plan was to identify potential areas for redevelopment, improve transportation and connectivity, and consider naming and branding opportunities for this area as a distinct location within Deerfield Beach. The city has partnered with Stantec to facilitate this meeting to fully capture the community vision for the area.
The meeting will take place in person with an opportunity to attend via a zoom link.
