2021 Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration

The African American Heritage Board along with the City of Deerfield Beach will be hosting their Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 19th from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex located at 445 SW 2nd St, Deerfield Beach. Come join the fun on Saturday, June 19th to celebrate this historical holiday with a Black History Mobile Museum, parade, rib competition, live entertainment, and much more! No pre-registration is required for the festival. 

On Friday, June 18th we will be hosting a Kick Off Banquet which will be held at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Deerfield Beach, 100 Fairway Dr, on Friday, June 18, 2021, starting at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM).
The Inaugural Juneteenth Banquet will offer an evening to remember with live music, delicious food and more! Join us as we celebrate this historic city holiday…you’ll be sure to enjoy yourself!
Tickets may be purchased at or visit 401A SW 4 St. on Mondays from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Tickets on sale Thursday, June 3 for $10.00, so get yours right away! Everyone is encouraged to wear African attire; however, it is not required.
