On Saturday, March 4th, the City of Deerfield Beach will be partnering with the Marine Industries Association of South Florida to host the annual Broward County Waterway Cleanup. The cleanup runs from 9 am to 12 pm.

This year, there will be two sites available in Deerfield Beach:

• Villages of Hillsboro Park, 4111 NW 6th Street, DFB: Participants will check in near the boat dock on the north side of the park. This location is open to kayaks, paddle boards, and small boats that can use the park’s boat ramp. 

• Sullivan Park, 1633 Riverview Road, DFB: Materials will be available for pick up at the Sullivan Park dock area. Participants can arrive by car, park in the lot, and pick up materials or arrive by boat and pick up straight from the dock. Deerfield Island Park will be closed, and no paddle boards will be available. 

Volunteer hours are available, and all volunteers will receive a cleanup t-shirt while supplies last.
