Community Engagement Café Presents Special Session to Discuss Art Installations at Branhilda Richardson-Knowles Memorial Park
Monday, August 1, 2022
District Two Commissioner Ben Preston is excited to host a special session of the Community Engagement Café on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 6 pm at the Hillsboro Technology Center located at 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive in Deerfield Beach. This session will focus on artwork to be installed at the Branhilda Richardson-Knowles Memorial Park and Cemetery.
On June 7, 2022, the Deerfield Beach Historical Society was awarded the African American Cultural and Historical Grant from the State of Florida. While a part of the grant is dedicated toward renovations to the Pioneer House, the other portion is slated for an art installation and/or new signage at the Branhilda Richardson-Knowles Memorial Park.
Please RSVP to the Community Engagement Café via email to Laura Frank, Parks and Recreation, lfrank@deerfield-beach.com.
