Community Development Department
The Community Development Department is responsible for all phases of the grant process, including the preparation of state and federal grants, administering grant programs, and providing information to City officials and the citizens of Deerfield Beach. The Community Development Department staff acts as a project manager to implement and monitor the projects and organizations receiving grant funds from the City. We hold forums with our business partners, present workshops on home-buying and finances, send students to vocational school, and assist public service organizations in helping our youth. This is carried out through a variety of programs and activities which focus on neighborhood revitalization, improved community facilities, services and economic development.
