The City of Deerfield Beach has partnered  with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Southeast Florida Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) to study and make recommendations for the redevelopment of the Deerfield Beach Central City Area. 

The study area includes the Dixie Highway Corridor from Sample Road in the south to Hillsboro Boulevard in the north, and the commercial, industrial and residential neighborhoods north of Hillsboro Boulevard between Martin Luther King Boulevard and North Dixie Highway (pictured below).
