PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
INTENT TO APPLY: REBUILD FLORIDA CRITICAL FACILITY HARDENING PROGRAM
The City of Deerfield Beach is applying for the Rebuild Florida Critical Facility Hardening Program to obtain funding for the following project:
Proposed Project: Fire Station (FS) 75 Generator
Cost Estimate: $100,000
Scope of Work: The project involves the purchase and installation of a generator for FS 75 located at 71 SE 21st Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.
The program is funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation, and administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Office of Disaster Recovery which supports long-term recovery housing, infrastructure and economic development needs in Florida communities impacted by disasters. The City would like the program to fund 100% of the project cost.
The 14-day public comment period begins on June 23, 2020 and will end on July 6, 2020.
