The Center for Active Aging has suspended its on-site services as of Monday, March 16, 2020. Although the majority of programs and activities are suspended until further notice, innovative virtual programming has been and will continue to be developed. Transportation, Counseling, Telephone Reassurance, Wellness Checks, and Food Deliveries are continuing to occur.
The Center for Active Aging provides supportive services and activities to individuals 60 years of age and older in order to improve their quality of life, promote their independence, and encourage their involvement with the community. Services include, but are not limited to, information and referral, education and training, health support, counseling, recreation, transportation, nutrition, the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP), and volunteer opportunities.
