City Facilities Closed for ThanksgivingAll City facilities, with exception to the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier, will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2019, and Friday, November 29, 2019. The Aquatic Center will be open holiday hours on Friday, November 29, 2019, from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Thanksgiving Can be Dangerous to Pets
The Thanksgiving holiday is a good time to remind you about possible dangers to your pet. "So much of Thanksgiving centers around food and eating that people are often tempted to feed a traditional holiday meal - complete with turkey and stuffing - to their pets."
DFB Annual Ocean Way Holiday Celebration
Join us for the 6th Annual Deerfield Beach Ocean Way Holiday Celebration presented by the Deerfield Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Main Beach Parking Lot (149 SE 21st Ave). Festivities will begin at 5:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM.
Holiday Toy and Book Drive for Deerfield Beach Children
Please join the City of Deerfield Beach in a Holiday Toy and Book Drive for children less fortunate in our community. A toy and book will be handed out at the Ice Cream Social with Santa on Wednesday, December 18 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Oveta McKeithen Recreational Center located at 445 SW 2 Street, Deerfield Beach.
