On your mark, get set, GO to the 23rd Annual Dunn’s Run to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County this Sunday, October 6, 2019, at 7:30 AM in the Main Beach Parking Lot, 149 SE 21 Ave. Bring your family and friends for a perfect fall morning where everyone can get involved in the fun with a 5K or 5 mile run/walk.

Please take note of the following road closures from 7:30AM – 12:00PM for the event:

SR 5 (Federal Highway) northbound from SE 10 St. to SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd.).

 SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd) eastbound and westbound from SR 5 (Federal Highway) to A1A

A1A and Ocean Way is closed from NE 2 St. to SE 9 St.

Movies in the Park - Pioneer Park

The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the first movie of the Movies in the Park Series, Goosebumps 2” on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pioneer Park, 222 NE 2 Ave, Deerfield Beach.


District Four Saturday Office Hours – October 5, 2019

District Four Commissioner, Todd Drosky is happy to host Saturday office hours, October 5, 2019, at City Hall located at 150 NE Second Ave., Deerfield Beach. Vice Mayor Drosky will be available to meet with constituents on an appointment basis, between the hours of 10am – Noon.

SE 19 Ave Park Pickleball Court Construction

The City of Deerfield Beach would like to notify residents that the construction of the SE 19 Avenue Park Pickleball Court is underway. The installation of the court is expected to take six (6) weeks to complete, weather permitting.


Siemens and DFB are Making a Smart City Vision Real

The City of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Siemens today officially announced the start of a city-wide energy efficiency project to reduce the city’s environmental footprint. Last month, the Commission of Deerfield Beach approved a 17-year contract with Siemens for energy performance services.


City Seeks Public Input for Beach Management Plan

The City of Deerfield Beach is seeking public input for the creation of the City’s first Beach Management Plan.  This includes identifying specific areas of opportunity for improvement and management of our beaches.
