D4 News
Hello friends,

I would like to let everyone know about two great events happening in our city this weekend.  First is the Mayor's Chess Challenge being held tomorrow morning (September 14) from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Hillsboro Community Center (50 Technology Drive).  The event is free and open to all skill levels.  Whether you are an aficionado or a novice, this event is for you if you enjoy chess.  Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

The second event is an exhibit of Clyde Butcher photographs at the Old School House (232 N.E. 2nd Street) also tomorrow September 14 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Mr. Butcher has captured the best of Florida's nature in black and white pictures that will leave you awestruck.  I personally have seen the collection, and it is a representation of the best Florida naturescapes around... period.

I hope to see you around this weekend!

Todd Drosky
Vice Mayor
