Hello friends,

I would like to wish everyone a happy Easter and Passover weekend.  If you are looking for some last-minute children's Easter events to attend then consider the following:

Today, Friday, April 19 is the Egg-Stavaganza at Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex (445 SW 2nd Street). The event is free and is for children 12 and under.  The fun with an appearance by the Easter Bunny begins at 6:00 p.m.

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 20 is the Annual Easter Egg Run at the Middle School Athletic Complex (501 SE 6th Avenue).  This event is also free and starts at 10:00 a.m.  Children ages 10 and under can come out to enjoy face painting, bounce houses and, of course, an egg hunt.

Have a great weekend!
