With Easter quickly approaching, I would like to remind everyone of the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt in our district on Thursday, April 18 at Constitution Park. There will be thousands of eggs filled with prizes and candy. Discover the "special eggs" and receive a bonus prize or Easter basket. There will also be a visit from the Easter Bunny. The event is free to Deerfield Beach residents; however pre-registration for the egg hunts is mandatory. A hunt wristband will be required to participate in the event. Register in person at Constitution Park or call (954) 480-4494.

6:00 Pre-event activities
6:45 Ages 7 to 12
7:00 Ages 13-17
7:30 Ages 18 and up

All-STAR Buddies "Choose to Include" Basketball Event
The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Departments All-STAR Buddies program in partnership with the Special Olympics will be hosting the first ever "Choose to Include" Basketball Event, Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex, 445 SW 2 Street.

City Continues Recycling Audits to Target Contaminators
In September, the City of Deerfield Beach restarted the recycling program named DFB Recycling Version 2.0. The relaunched program focuses on bringing recycling back to its basics and keeping it clean through the reduction of excess contamination.
