D4 News
Hello friends,

Some of you may already follow Broward Sheriff's Office Twitter feed.  Our district uses Twitter (@DFB_Alerts) to reach out and advise the community of certain types of events being worked in the district:

Real-time, life-safety concerns
Traffic-related issues
Missing/endangered/located persons
Serious weather-related information
Found pets
PIO & Crime Stoppers information on current investigations
Miscellaneous safety alerts/reminders General public information

The list of notification types will undoubtably increase as the intelligence center is brought online over the next few months. I encourage each of you to share the Twitter handle with other residents and businesses, so they may also be apprised of this important information. The idea is to keep everyone safe, to keep the public informed, to partner with the community on certain investigations, and to continue my commitment of service to the residents and visitors of Deerfield Beach.

Be safe,

Todd Drosky
Vice Mayor
