D4 News

Hello friends,

On Tuesday evening, Deerfield Beach welcomed two new commissioners to the dais.  As a result of the March 12 election, Michael Hudak became the District 1 commissioner while Ben Preston assumed the District 2 seat.  I am looking forward to working with both of them on a host of issues, the most important of which is our city budget.  If Tuesday's meeting was any indication, the city can look forward to well-reasoned and professional debate for the foreseeable future.  We will not always agree, but we will do so in a respectful manner.  I encourage you to be involved in the process any way you can.  Keep calling and sending me emails!

And if you are curious when Districts 3 and 4 as well as the mayor are up for re-election, it is March 2021.

Have a great weekend!

Todd Drosky

Vice Mayor
