D4 News

Hello friends,

I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day.  As America celebrates her 242nd birthday, please remember the bravery and sacrifices of the founding fathers who declared our independence from England, the most powerful country in the world at that time.  For its part, the City will be hosting 4th of July activities all day.  Country music's hottest band, "A Thousand Horses," will headline this year's event. The day will be capped at 9:05 p.m. with South Florida's premier fireworks at the pier.  For the full lineup of activities, please visit www.dfb.city/4thofjuly.com.
In other noteworthy events, there will be a citywide town hall meeting regarding Code Compliance tomorrow June 30, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  It will be held at the Hillsboro Community Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive.
Have a great weekend,

Todd Drosky
