What's Happening in Deerfield Beach?

New Xbox One FIFA 18 Tournament
The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to debut its first ever gaming tournament at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex, 445 SW 2th Street, on Saturday, January 20th at 2:00pm.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan Public Hearing

The City of Deerfield Beach is an entitlement recipient of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and anticipates receiving approximately $621,699 in PY 2018-2019 to address community development and housing needs in Deerfield Beach. A public hearing will be held to obtain citizens views and determine needs and local priorities for the use of the funds on Thursday, February 8th, 2018 at 6:30pm in the Hillsboro Community Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive, Deerfield Beach.

Sip & Stroll at Constitution Park Arboretum
The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the first annual Sip and Stroll on Saturday, February 10th at the Constitution Park Arboretum, 2841 W Hillsboro Blvd., from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.


South Beach Bathrooms - Closed for Renovations

The City of Deerfield Beach would like to notify residents that the bathrooms located at the south end of the beach will be closed for renovations beginning Monday, January 8th with an expected completion date in April, weather permitting.


SE 15th Street Park Closed for Renovations
The Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department would like to notify residents that construction will begin on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the SE 15th Street Park, located at 1100 SE 15th Street. Therefore, the park will be closed to the public. If there are no weather delays the City hopes to reopen its brand new park on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
