D4 News

Hello friends,

As the City Commission begins its deliberations over the proposed FY18 budget, I want you all to know that the budget has been posted on the City's website. The proposed budget does not increase the millage rate from last year. The City Manager intends to make a budget presentation at the September 5th commission meeting. Thereafter, I will be hosting a town hall to not only discuss the budget but also to get your thoughts and opinions. The tentative date is Thursday, September 28th. More details will be released in next week's newsletter.

Monday, August 21st marks the opening of public schools in Broward County. I wish all of our students a great year. Please be careful when driving as school zone speed limits will be in effect.

Have a great weekend!
