I want to thank everyone who attended my June 1 Code Compliance Town Hall meeting. It was literally a standing room only event and lasted nearly two and a half hours. For those who could not attend, a copy of the minutes from the meeting are attached HERE. City staff gave a detailed presentation of the code compliance process which was followed by a question and answer session. I enjoyed the discussion with you and clarifying some common misconceptions about the process that must be followed pursuant to State of Florida law.
Due to the overwhelming positive feedback of this town hall, I will be having many more town halls in the future. Some of them will be issue specific, like the one on June 1 regarding code compliance. Others will be an open format. The next town hall will be in early fall and will relate specifically to the City's budget. I will let you know when a date and time has been selected.
In the meantime, please review the great events below happening in our city. As always, feel free to contact me for any reason. Have a great weekend!
