Hello friends and neighbors,
I hope this has been a great week for all of you!
I want to thank those of you who attended the District 4 community meeting last night. For those of you who couldn't be there, it is important for you to know that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, has begun a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) from south of US 441 (SR 7) to Powerline Road (SR 845). FDOT will be looking at addressing current and future traffic issues. Folks, this will affect our community so please get engaged! For more information visit the website, www.sawgrass.floridasturnpike.com.
Friends, I have included some additional information below regarding volunteer opportunities for residents as well as upcoming events. I also want to remind you that you can now find me on Twitter @DFB_D4Ganz. You can tweet your questions or send me a direct message.
