Deerfield Beach Presents the Budget Transparency Tool
The City of Deerfield Beach is excited to announce that it has launched the Budget Transparency Tool, which can now be found on the City website at www.DFB.City. This web-based financial tool reports the City's revenues and expenses, including historical trends and line item details. The program also includes charts and graphs with detailed financial data that can be downloaded into a digital format. This new software makes it easier for residents to understand the budgetary process and helps the City improve transparency and its commitment to open government.
The City is very proud to be one of just 15 cities in all of south Florida to offer its residents easier access to the budget and the opportunity to filter and analyze revenues and expenses at just the click of a mouse.

Deerfield Beach Unplugged
The City of Deerfield Beach is excited to announce that it continues to take great strides when it comes to enhancing its use of technology by offering a City App to its residents and visitors.
"InsideDFB" is now available for free on the Apple and Google app stores. Residents can access everything from city news and events, calendars even the new underwater camera from a mobile device.
With this new technology comes a couple of cutting edge features as well. The first feature is the Alert center, which is where anyone can sign up to receive alerts about canceled events or a delay in garbage and recycling pick-up. The next feature is called "Fix It" and it offers residents an opportunity to report anything in Deerfield Beach that needs to be repaired or cleaned up. With "Fix It" residents can snap a photo of a pothole, vandalism or whatever needs to be reported and send that from a mobile device, with the location and brief description of the problem, directly to the City Manager's office. These enhanced features are also available on the newly upgraded City Website.
The City recently modernized its website in order to improve functionality and efficiency for anyone who logs on to search for information. This, just months after completing its social media platform. You can find the City of Deerfield Beach on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We also want to remind residents and visitors that they can now log onto www.deerfieldbeachshop.com to purchase city branded souvenirs like hats, t-shirts and more without ever setting foot into the new Pier shop. Deerfield Beach is the only south Florida municipality to have an e-commerce website that promotes the city brand. We encourage residents and visitors to download "InsideDFB" on their mobile devices, visit us online at www.DFB.City or check us out on social media. Don't forget to use the hashtags: #DFB or #LoveDFB. Join us in moving the City forward by staying up-to-date with the latest news, events and information. Who says government is boring?
