I first would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Second, I would like remind everyone that this is a busy and exciting weekend as the City celebrates its 95th birthday with the annual Pioneer Days festival. The activities begin Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. as the parade winds its way from Pioneer Park eastward along Hillsboro Boulevard and then along A1A to the main beach parking lot. The theme of this year’s parade is Mardi Gras. The parade’s grand marshal will be Miami Hurricanes legend Willis McGahee. Thereafter, there will be live music, food vendors, carnival rides and games all weekend long at the beach. Saturday is capped off with a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:05 p.m. Everything is open until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Bring the whole family and enjoy a weekend of fun celebrating our great City. I hope to see you there.
Have a great weekend!
