D4 News
Hello friends,

In order to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day the City is hosting a series of family-oriented events on both Sunday and Monday.  The weekend’s events kick off on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. with the annual choir competition at the Leo Robb gymnasium.  The celebratory parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and traverses Hillsboro Boulevard from Federal Highway to MLK Boulevard.  The activities continue the rest of the day at Oveta McKeithen Park with a battle of the bands, live music and our keynote speaker State Senator Perry Thurston. There’s lots to do and I hope to see you around.

Have a great weekend!
Todd Drosky
Vice Mayor
