Micro-Enterprise Grant Assistance (MEGA) Program accepting new applications

The City of Deerfield Beach is committed to supporting small businesses who are financially struggling amidst the COVID-19 outbreak and is accepting new applications for the Micro-Enterprise Grant Assistance (MEGA) Program.

The grant benefits local micro-enterprises directly. Commercial enterprises with five employees or fewer will be able to apply for grant money of up to $5,000. Funds may be used for working capital to cover business costs, such as rent, staffing and utilities. Applicants must keep in mind that the City’s ability to provide financial assistance is based on eligibility guidelines.

Businesses that are a second income, home based or that have previously received financial assistance from other sources such as Payroll Protection Program (PPP) or Economic Injury Disaster Loan EIDL are not eligible for MEGA.

Applications will be accepted until funds are fully allocated.
