Deerfield Beach Jr. Anglers Day

Jr. Anglers Day Postponed to September 28th.

The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce this year’s Jr. Anglers Day presented by FishAngler that will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the International Fishing Pier, 200 NE 21 Avenue.

This free fishing event, for children ages 5 – 13, will include fishing clinics, exhibitors, goodie bags, arts and crafts, and face painting. Bring the family out to enjoy a day of fun on the International Fishing Pier while engaging in interactive fishing activities, entertainment and much more!

Registration is free, however, spots are limited! Register now at or by visiting any community center to guarantee a day of fun and a goodie bag. Please note, there is a limited supply of goodie bags. All participants must complete the necessary waiver in order to be considered fully registered for the event.

Parking on the barrier island is on a first come, first serve basis and is metered parking. Complimentary shuttle service will be available at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex (445 SW 2 Street) to the International Fishing Pier. This shuttle service will run continuously from 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
