This summer, the South Florida Community Land Trust (CTL) will sell six newly constructed single-family homes to eligible low-income households in the City of Deerfield Beach. Eligible families will have an impressive inventory to choose from, as CLT will be selling four, three-bedroom/two bathroom homes and two, four-bedroom/two-bathroom homes. Each of these brand new properties will be priced under $200,000.
Applicants must earn less than 80-percent of the area median income. Income limits are based on family size. For example, a family of four must earn less than $64,650. Interested buyers will need to submit a letter of intent, verify their income, attend an 8-hour homebuyer class, obtain a pre-approval letter from a participating CLT lender, and attend a CLT Homebuyer Workshop. The CLT will also host two Homebuyer Workshops to provide details about the homes, the purchase process and CLT homeownership model on Thursday, May 16 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillsboro Community Center located at 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive, Deerfield Beach. Interested persons are encouraged to attend.
