Beach Berm Gets Makeover

The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department would like to inform residents that staff will be re-sodding the beach berm from SE 1 Street to SE 4 Street starting April 12019. During this time staff will treat the current turf for weeds and then remove the existing sod to regrade and upgrade irrigation. The berm will then be re-sodded. This process is expected to take approximately four weeks, weather permitting. There will be periodic parking space closures in the area as work progresses.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we work to beautify our beach to make it the best in south Florida!

For more information, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 954-571-2670.
