Advisory Update No Red Tide Activity Detected in Deerfield Beach

The City of Deerfield Beach would like residents and visitors to be aware that water samples collected on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, by Broward County in coordination with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), contained no signs of naturally-occurring red tide. Therefore, the City has lifted all red tide-related restrictions for the beach and fishing pier.

In an abundance of caution, Broward County collected additional samples today for continued monitoring and testing.

For more information on Red Tide, residents and visitors are encouraged to call 1-866-300-9399 or visit http://myfwc.com/research/redtide/faq/.
