FDOT Project in Deerfield Beach to Impact Traffic

Project Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has awarded a $289,809.15 contract to Concrete Services,LLC to replace the pedestrian fencing along the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge over Florida’s Turnpike inCoconut Creek and Deerfield Beach. Construction will begin February 14, 2017 and will be completed insummer 2017.

Project Improvements

Replacing the pedestrian fencing on both the north and the south sides of the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridgeover Florida’s Turnpike

Traffic Impact

  • Up to two lanes in each direction of Florida’s Turnpike at Hillsboro Boulevard may be closed Sundaythrough Thursday evenings between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

  • One lane in each direction of Hillsboro Boulevard at Florida’s Turnpike may be closed Monday throughFriday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
